Eleanora Jaffeux Beck, 83, wife of Harold D. Beck, Sr., died Saturday, February 13, 2010 at her home. Born October 6, 1926, she was the daughter of Paul Andrew and Eleanora Virginia Cordle Jaffeux. A homemaker, Eleanora was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, where she was in charge of the alter flowers. Her hobbies included her love of horticultural wild flowers and being a Foster Parent. Funeral services for Mrs. Beck will be 11 AM Monday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home, with the Reverends Coan Agee and Sidney Rodriguez officiating. Interment will take place at 3PM Monday at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville, NC. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Beck is survived by her children, Barbara B. and Mike West of Chipley, FL; Linda K. Beck of Chapel Hill, NC; and Nora B. and Allen Tuck, Harold D, Jr. and Teresa Beck, and Vera A. Beck, all of Clarksville. Grandchildren, Robert and Scott West, Jennifer Branch, Joseph, Juanita, and Johnathan Tuck and Jeramey Beck; great grandchildren, Abigail, Blake, and Payton West, Joshua Tuck, Victoria Royster, and Gabriel and Lillian Beck; and sister, Margaret Jones of Lilesville, NC also survive. She was preceded in death by brothers, Paul, Jr. and Franklin Jaffeux and great grandchild, Jessica Tuck. The family will receive friends 7-8:30 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
